If your situation is a little past the need for basic help with rent and utilities — if you or someone you know is facing homelessness or housing instability — Murfreesboro Rescue Mission is here to help.
While they work toward establishing a crisis shelter for our community, they currently walk alongside individuals and families by assessing your unique circumstances, connecting you with community resources, and developing personalized pathways toward long-term housing and lasting stability.
Complete the Request for Assistance (RFA) form to help them better understand your situation and determine how they may be able to assist.
Where to begin
Winning starts with beginning.
Searching for help — for yourself or someone you love — takes courage. Most people scroll past. You showed up. That decision already puts you ahead of where you were yesterday.
Pick the resource that fits where you are and reach out — a phone call, a click, a walk through a door. You don't have to solve everything. Just take that one step and let the help meet you.
There is a real peace that follows action — the relief of no longer carrying it alone. Every step forward creates that peace, and each one makes the next easier. You will look back on today as the day things started to change.
You don't need everything figured out to begin.
The resources on this site were built for exactly the moment you're in. Not for people who have it together — for people who are in the middle of it. Wherever you are starting from, there is a path forward. The first step is just picking up the phone, opening a door, or reading the next page.
Picture this: rent paid, lights on, fridge full. A job that actually has a future. A budget that makes sense for the first time. Kids who are fed and cared for. A faith community that knows your name. That life is not out of reach. It is built one decision at a time, by someone exactly like you, starting from exactly where you are.
