About the program
What is Summer Harvest?
Summer Harvest Inc. is a nonprofit that distributes free, shelf-stable 7-day meal packs to children during summer months when school meal programs are unavailable. Each pack is ready when you are — no cooking required, no refrigeration needed.
The Rutherford County site runs from June 4 through August 6, 2026, every Thursday morning at Grace Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. If that location doesn't work, there are pickup sites across seven surrounding counties as well.
